Flagsdale (population 400) is located on a crossroads which peaks on a hill. It is a perfect example of what happens when a town grows up from a central point, rather than being planned.
The center of Flagsdale is the Tavern. This is the oldest building in the area, and started as a waypoint for people traveling along either of the roads that cross here. Over time a General Store (and eventually a few Specific Stores) opened their doors to cater to the needs of those who are staying over at the Tavern.
Now, Flagsdale is a thriving community of farmers, bankers, shopkeepers, and even has a constabulary.
