Torg Ironhelm of the hamlet of [[Peachwood Grove]]

Torg Ironhelm is the eldest son of Torm Ironhelm and Helga War-blade

On his father's side he is the grandson of Thorg Iron-helm 'the anvil-breaker of High-silver Hall' and Kathra Golden-blade of clan Golden-blade of High-silver Hall.

And on his mother's side he is the grandson of Morgran War-blade the Ironmonger and Helja Gem-rock.

Torg’s family hails from the nearby mountains but with maybe a touch of the taint of the primordial powers in the bloodline that would account for some of the oddness that has been seen in the families’ bloodline. Who knows, bloodlines with a touch of Azer blood or Galeb Duhr have their own look about them. The rare traits of vivid deep blue eyes, light skin and blond/yellow hair are vary uncommon in most dwarven clans but have breed true for generations in the Ironhelm line and before that the Thunder-hammer’s of Cloud-silver. Information about the Thunder-hammer family or any information on Cloud-silver is lost to the ages. The young dwarf is powerfully built but not as barrel-chested or beer-gutted as some of the other mountain dwarves. He weighs in at 180 lbs. and stands 4’7”. Needless to say, he can’t float in water even without his armor but he can swim after a fashion with lots of splashing as he uses mussel power to stay on top of the water.

Before becoming an adventurer Torg Ironhelm belonged to the hamlet's guard and worked with his father at the smith and with his mother in her small brewery and distillery.    The young adventurer would have liked to have kept his gear from his time in the militia, but that was not the way the locals did things, so he got the gold and the note to give to the innkeeper.

The young adventurer has grownup listening to stories and legends of old, the long dwarven epics that go on for years, the history of the world and the dwarven people, and it has shaped him as it informed him about the world. Torg Ironhelm worships Moradin, Tharmekhûl and Valkauna, all considered dwarven Gods, so he learned to keep his religion to himself to fit in with the humans of Peach-Wood Grove who mostly follow Pelor. This has shaped his personality as much as any thing. He is reserved. He’s flexible on how he goes about doing something but unbending in his actions. He is steadfast, stoic, and unshakable even if a little inpatient with unneeded delays with doing something. He can’t stand the works of Bane and Gruumsh or there followers, or those who break a solemn oath, even more so if the oath breaker has already benefited from the oath at the expense of the other party like people who refuse to pay there loans off.

Things that Torg is looking for are:

  • Follow his elders’ wishes and see the world for a few years.
  • Strive to make a mark on the world, a lasting legacy.
  • Be loyal to his family, clan (not that he really has one, maybe it’s his group of heroes for hire) and the dwarven people.
  • Also finding the right dwarven woman to take home and start a hearth with would be a nice bonus, but he sees that as vary hard for he is clan-less and nameless. One he makes a name for his self…
